Kelli Early is a native of North Carolina, born in Winston-Salem. They are a Senior studying Management with an emphasis in Leadership and have a Political Science minor. As the Center for Diversity Education's Social Media Intern, they utilize several forms of media to promote CDE's events and exhibits. With a background in reproductive health and queer advocacy, Kelli is excited to create accessible content to spark conversations about difference and connecting the Center with the greater Asheville community. After winning the 2016 Social Entrepreneurship Competition at UNC Asheville, they became a 2017 Peer Mentor in the IST 200 course "Ideas to Action" where they help students mold brillant ideas into a business plan for action! In their spare time, they enjoy painting watercolors, registering people to vote, and hiking.
